About Us

What to Expect When You Come

Upon arriving you can expect to find many people standing in the foyer talking and sharing life experiences with each other. During the first service of the day, children from the ages of three years old to high school senior have Sunday School and there is also a staffed nursery available for younger children. However, you are more than welcome to have your children with you in the service. In the sanctuary you’ll find that we enjoy singing and we sing four-part harmony from hymn books. After a time of singing a few ministering brothers will go to the pulpit. One of those brothers will preach/teach from the Bible and another will add a few confirming thoughts to the message. At the end of the service a brother from the congregation will offer a prayer and afterwards the congregation will move to the dining area of the church to share a meal together. After a meal and time of fellowship the congregation will move back into the sanctuary for a second service, this time with the children who were in Sunday School during the first service. The format of the second service will match that of the first service.

What we believe

We believe that there is one God who created the heavens, the earth, and everything in the earth including we humans. We rebelled against God (sin) and thus were separated from him without hope of being brought back. However, God sent his Son Jesus to live a perfect life here on this earth and then to die in our place on the cross so that he could bear the sin penalty for all who put their faith and trust in him. Jesus resurrected after his death and is now in Heaven with God the Father but will be coming back soon to judge the earth; those who have trusted in him will be granted eternal life in heaven while those who do not trust in his sacrifice will be separated forever from God in hell.
